Lot 6

Lot 6 is the one of the only cafe on campus at University of Melbourne (coffee stands not included, there are a million of those), as far as I’m concerned anyway. Its name comes from its location, right next to Gate 6. During lunchtime, it’s usually packed full of students brunch’ away.

Skinny Flat White – $3.80

The coffees are quite weak at Lot 6, and no latte art obviously. Having said that though, I do like the milkiness at times, as weird as that may sound. I guess my taste just ain’t that refined hey.

Lot 6 Club Sandwich – $14.00

This may not look like much, but it was actually really filling. The chips were nice and fresh with plenty of salt, I wish they served it with a sauce though.

Chicken, cheese, bacon, fried egg and lettuce were sandwiched (punny I know) between the three slices of bread. It was quite messy to eat, but the flavours all worked well together, no surprise there, since it was a tried and tested combination.
Lot 6 is a nice little cafe to study in as well, although it can get pretty loud during the busy lunch hours. The two page menu had some nice options, and there are plenty of choices if you’re a vegetarian too, which is always nice.
How to get there:
Lot 6 is located next to level 1 of ERC, enter through Gate 6 of University of Melbourne and it’s right behind Tsubu Bar.
